The founder
Why this exists.
I’m Brayden Sandberg. I spent four years at Fidelity Investments in client-facing advisory roles — Series 7 and 66, hundreds of clients, real training in how to diagnose before you recommend.
And the whole time, I kept noticing the same thing: the people I admired most — the contractors, the fabricators, the shop owners who built real companies with their hands — were the ones getting the least help. Owners with seven figures locked in their business and no plan to unlock it. Advisors who had never set foot in their building. An exit strategy of “work until I can’t.”
I left Fidelity in July 2025 to close that gap — to bring the kind of advisory and systems that large companies take for granted to the owner-led businesses that need them most.
The method came from solving my own problem first. I built my own operating system — the knowledge base, the maps, the working files that let me run my business without holding it all in my head. Then I started building the same thing for owners.
I sharpened the ax solving my own mess. I get paid solving yours.
Today that means one thing, done deeply: extracting the Business DNA out of an owner’s head and turning it into a company that can run, grow, and one day transfer — on systems, not memory.
The name is the promise.
The Granite Table is the place where people sit down and get aligned — owner, advisor, specialists, family. It’s permanent. It’s solid. Agreements made on it hold.
And everything happens on top of the table: every fee, every referral, every recommendation, in plain view of everyone seated. No hidden arrangements, no side deals, no fine print. That’s not a tagline — it’s the operating rule this firm was named for.
Principles, in writing.
Transparency
Every fee, every referral arrangement, every cost — disclosed and explained up front. You will never wonder where your money is going or who is getting paid what.
Diagnosis before prescription
I don't recommend a fix before I understand the system. That instinct came from the advisory world, and it's the spine of everything here: we map before we build.
Alignment
Engagements are structured so I do well when you do well. I'm not incentivized to sell you things you don't need or stretch out work that isn't working.
Simplicity
Business advisory shouldn't require a translator. If you can't understand what I'm telling you, that's my fault, not yours.
Integrity
The same message delivered privately and publicly, to every party involved. What I say to you is what I say about you. No exceptions.
Selectivity
I don't work with everyone, and 'not a fit' is an honest, respectable outcome. When it's the answer, you'll hear it in the first hour — with a better door to knock on.
The technology edge
Built, not bought.
The systems behind Granite Table — the diagnostic tooling, the valuation models, the operating layers built for clients — are designed and built in-house. Custom software, built around how a business actually works, in days rather than quarters.
That includes this website. If it feels different from the template sites you’ve seen, that’s the point: it runs on the same craft we bring to client work. What you see is what you get.
The Granite Table is where agreements are made. Everything happens on top of the table — every fee, every step, in plain view.
If the way this firm operates sounds like the way you'd want to be worked with, the first hour is free — and honest.
