Business advisory for owner-led companies · Draper, Utah
Your business runs on what’s in your head.
Every price, every exception, every decision your team can’t make without you. It all lives in your memory, and nowhere else. Granite Table maps that Business DNA so the company can finally run on something sturdier than recall.
For owner-led businesses in the services, manufacturing, and trades. Typically $1M–$15M, where the owner is still the system.
We map before we build.
The first deliverable is a wire map: a drawing of how work, money, and decisions actually move through your business. Most owners have never seen their company on one page. It changes the conversation immediately.
Illustrative drawing. Yours is drafted from your business: your people, your tools, your handoffs.
Four questions most owners avoid.
Not because the answers are unknowable. Because nobody has ever mapped the business clearly enough to answer them. That’s the work.
If you disappeared for thirty days, what breaks first?
The honest answer tells you exactly how much of the business is still you. Most owners have a feeling. Few have a map.
What does your team still ask you that they shouldn't have to?
Every repeated question is a rule that lives in your head instead of the business. Those rules can be written down, made visible, and made to work without you.
What never shows up in your ledger?
Your books may be immaculate. But quotes that never got a follow-up, customers who quietly went elsewhere, work finished but invoiced late — some of it is sitting in your own books right now, and you still can't see it. It has to be mapped to be seen.
Could anyone run this business but you?
One day, someone will have to. A manager, a family member, a buyer. What that moment is worth depends on what you build between now and then.
The Business DNA Map. Five artifacts you keep.
Not a recommendation deck. You walk away owning the operating knowledge of your own company, readable by you, your team, and any system built on top of it.

An honest word before we begin
I don’t work with everyone.
This work only succeeds when the fit is real. Every engagement starts with a free hour where we figure that out together.
This is for you if…
- You run an owner-led business in the services, manufacturing, or trades — roughly $1M–$15M.
- You're still the bottleneck, and you're tired of it. The team can't move without you in the room.
- You want the business to run on systems, not memory — to grow it, step back from it, or someday hand it off.
- You'll let me see how it really works — the good, the duct tape, and the parts held together by habit.
I’ll point you elsewhere if…
- You're looking for magic automation. Software bolted onto chaos just moves the mess faster.
- You want a report, not a result. I don't write decks that sit in drawers.
- The business isn't ready to be looked at honestly. No shame in that — timing matters.
- I genuinely can't move the needle for you. If so, you'll hear it in the first hour, with a better door to knock on.
A note from the founder
I spent four years at Fidelity watching the owners who built the most get served the least.
Contractors, fabricators, shop owners — people running real companies worth real money, whose advisors had never set foot in their building. I left in 2025 to work with those owners directly.
Here’s what I believe: your business already has the answers. They’re just trapped in your head, your conversations, your key people’s habits, and a dozen disconnected tools. My job is to get them out — mapped, written down, and working for you — so the company you built can finally stand on its own.
And if I can’t genuinely help you, I’ll say so in the first hour. You’ll leave with an honest read either way.

Before you show me anything
- Your data stays yours. Everything we build lives in accounts you own and control — not mine.
- Access you can revoke. Any time, no questions. You hold the keys, not me.
- What I learn stays here. Your numbers and methods are never reused, shared, or shopped to anyone — competitor or otherwise.
If someone has burned you before — a consultant, a vendor, a competitor — you’re exactly who this page was written for.
The Granite Table is where agreements are made. Everything happens on top of the table — every fee, every step, in plain view.
It starts with a free hour. No pitch, no deck — an honest look at where your business stands, and a straight answer about whether I can help.
